The Car Wash Update!

In the last blog post, I began with the verse from Ephesians that says God is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, and today we saw it happen;

in the Weather...not a cloud in the sky- 85 degrees!

in the Unbelievable amount of donated baked goods and canopies to keep them out of the sun

Friends and Family who spent the day Washing LOTS of cars.....

 It would not have been successful without the people who came...had their vehicles washed, bought necklaces and baked goods and gave in an incredibly generous way. 

  Thank you Dave for being the one to say 'Lets do this' and to our incredible friends who worked hard to organize and make it happen. Thank you to Kerkstra Precast for the matching gift of 5,000 dollars! Thank you Boomsma family and Hudsonville Lanes for generously offering their parking lot for the carwash! Thank you Kim for the yummy lunch you provided for all the volunteers! Thank you so much to everyone who CAME to help, bake, buy and give. We thank most of all our Heavenly Father who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine because...........This Car Wash/Bake Sale raised $14,500 toward our Uganda Start up fund!(check out the thermometer on the side of our blog to see where that puts us!) We stand amazed by our God...humbled by your generosity..and grateful for each person that was part of this day.
